From the founder

Rooted didn't come from a startup idea or a market gap. When I planted my first tree in my actual hometown in Handan, while living in London as a migrant, that feeling of being anchored to both my past and the natural world broke something open.

A tree is a life, with a spirit, a story, and a name.

Not a number.

Rooted is my attempt to remember that. To put the tree back at the centre, and build a world where reforestation is something people carry with them every day.
